Let’s get things started with the most important event of the week: Teddy making it through the snow like John Snow yesterday (sound on):
Over in podcast land, this week I talk about:

When the world seems to be falling apart all over again, call in gratitude to keep yourself in one piece. For starters it’s your ability to breath, the blood circulating throughout your body, and then your appreciation keeps radiating out from these points of basic wellness (your home, your family, the food that somehow made its way over to you).
In between doing the inevitable work of checking case counts, you can count how many songs or poems you’re able to write in an hour instead. Set a timer for 2 minutes to work on that darn project that’s been on your list for a while. Don’t reward yourself with morning coffee until you’ve done at least 2 minutes.
Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates as I won’t see you again until Boxing Day 🎄.
Eat lots of bagels! They’re not that good for you but they make you feel good especially if they’re warm.
