Last night I ate a ton of food by my standards. So bagel had to go today (the morning is not done yet, though).
Sometimes, just a nice piece of multigrain toast with cream cheese is just as good as the bagel, I hate to admit.
Teddy cracked me up to no end last night. I have been giving him these chewy sticks that have crushed up oyster shell in them (Crumps), which are designed to help clean out their gums.
He takes the thing and hides it a few times before eating it. I once saw him hiding it in the couch, so I’m on to him.
So last night I’m lying in bed after doing a sweep to make sure he hasn’t hidden the chewy stick under my pillow.
I’m rolled onto my side and he starts sniffing around my back.
Now he’s swatting and it.
I realize that the skin of my back is touching the fucking treat!
He’s now licking the treat and my back, turning the sweat off my body into an extension of the treat itself.
Ewww! GTFO Teddy!
Sunday Morning Experiments: Fox Loop for Focus and Tidying Up the House
I try to do something creative on sunday morning before I fire this newsletter off. Here is an experiment I did recently where I took this loop of Elijah Fox’s piano, and I looped it over and over again.
You can use this to put on in the background while getting through tasks or chores. It will go for 14 minutes and then you have to restart it again.
For an extra boost, put this on with headphones and you’ll really go into this trance.
I paired it with a timelapse that I captured on the morning of Friday, March 14th, 2025.
Here it is on YouTube as well (unlisted).
The piano loop is from Central Park West off of the album City in the Sky (Piano Works)
Have a great week ahead. See you next week… 🤠
