This week I took a roadtrip to pick up some furniture. And by roadtrip I drove no more than 40 minutes outside the city. And yet I could still feel the effect of what happens when people go on vacation and they leave their daily radius. You get a mix of nervousness and inspiration all in one shot.
Now the highlight of this roadtrip was I drove through a small town, no more than a 4 block radius. There were two cannabis dispensaries in this town that I could spot on my route. I thought it was an adorably scaled down model of Toronto.
This week’s podcast goes over some blog posts I’ve written lately, and I play two pieces of music. One has a lovely Bollywood sound, and the other is called Jamson (“I Want to Talk to Jamson”).
Ok I can’t write that without explaining the inside joke for anyone who doesn’t know. It’s from the movie Half Baked which I thought about recently because of the recent loss of Bob Saget. He will be missed!

Learn Something New
I uploaded a new tutorial this week showing how to make a bloopy bleepy synth in VCV Rack Free.
Send Me Your Bagels
That’s it for the week. I have a favour to ask you though. Can you send me a photo of your favourite bagel that I can share with everyone in future editions? If you live in a place that doesn’t sell bagels you can send me a photo of your best brunch dish.
Just reply back to the email with your photo. I would credit only your first name and last initial (Elliott F.) to protect your privacy unless you request to be referenced in some other way.
See you soon!

p.s. Did you know you can use my music on Instagram and TikTok? If you’re making a video that lets you add music, you just search for my name in the music library.
