With a patch of cold air that’s made its way in, I have stopped taking my evening walk, which is code for hibernation. Especially when you factor in the fact that dinners are now sitting and caking into the body.
When winter finally strengthens its grip, I feel like it is all about finally being ok with doing nothing. You say, “I give up, you can have me bed”.
But all hope is not lost, as every day is a clean slate to pick things up and keep your energy flowing. Routines are more important than ever in these times.
In keeping with that theme, this week’s piece is a quiet homage to those streets that just have no one walking on them, save for a few people who own big dogs. I named it Quiet Snow Angels in the Sand:
