Spinning Together on Planet E
This week’s podcast was like producing a film, but more accurately it was like the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry is asked to bootleg a movie and demands that he has multiple camera angles in the theatre.
It was well worth the extra effort though, as there’s lots of great music in here.
One thing to note. It takes a few minutes to warm up to any task, especially when you’re improvising music. I chose to not cut that warm up time out of here so that you’re really along for the journey of where this performance is going.
Nothing wrong with you, nothing wrong with me, we’re spinning together… on Planet E
You can also listen on your favourite podcast player.
Special announcement!
Patrons will be getting a monthly hour-long mix that features different music captured on these recordings. You can join for as low as $3/month.
Bagels Around the World
Bagels used to be a staple in the city of Vilnius, Lithuania, which at one point was a central hub of Jewish people until they all but disappeared from the place after World War II.
However not all stories have such depressing endings as a local decided to open up Beigelistai in 2014 after sampling such delicious offerings found in New York City.
I would add Vilnius to my list of revenge travel spots, except for the fact that I would rather bask in tropical sun after this sloppy winter here in Toronto.
Read more about the bagel revival of this city here.
Enjoy the rest of your Family Day Weekend if you’re Canadian, and if you’re not then simply keep eating more bagels anyways. And listen to my podcast of course.
