As we get colder here in Toronto the last thing you probably want to hear about is fans, but I thought I’d share my picks including a laptop cooling fan that is helpful in any season.
🧇 ✨ Here are three fans that I’ve been using this year: ✨ 🧇
Gaiatop Portable Fan This rechargeable, handheld fan replaces all the crappy ones we had as kids. I will keep it at my desk in any season because my office is often warmer than the rest of the home with all the equipment turned on. And it’s just nice to have a breeze whenever possible.
OCOOPA1 Small Desk Fan While the Gaiatop has a little stand, sometimes having a fan that is meant for a desk can be good too. This one is also more powerful and bigger than the Gaiatop and doesn’t cost that much more. This one came in handy during a long power outage this past summer.
TopMate Laptop Cooling Fan When you put your laptop directly on the desk, there isn’t adequate airflow for its fans to cool the processor off. This low-cost unit seems to do the trick at getting some extra air onto the laptop which will help it perform better and give it more longevity. It will also try to prevent it from turning its own fans into overdrive which a lot of older Macbook users are familiar with, but you will still be hearing the steady sound of the TopMate’s fans.
