Thanks Ira I was going to ask if you had a record player in your room but the radio makes much more sense to me. I was told stories about how people would sneak radios into synagogue to listen to famous sports games.
I had a record player also that I played my albums and 45’s on. I still have a yellow disk that would fit into the larger hole in the 45’s. My parents had a victrola that also played 78 rpm records they had. That magnificent piece also has an am, fm and shortwave radio and a place to store your records.
3 cd changers were the sweet spot. 5 got unwieldy.
Capers are a 10/10 lox n shmear topping. Only bettered by the Big Capers with the stems.
Yes correct the CD changers were a huge leap. I didn’t even know Big Capers existed. They sound kind of scary.
