Always return to the question of what scares you.Â
What stops you in your tracks from doing the things that need to be done?Â
What are your outlets for letting your purpose escape and go somewhere else?Â
If you could spend a few minutes to contemplate these questions then I will have done far greater service to you than any news broadcast or social media reel that you might watch today.Â
Score One for Fear
Two weeks ago I told a woman that she has to send a newsletter for her business in a few days.
I gave her a few days to prepare it but I also gave her the warning that all her sh*t will come up in the process.Â
She told me that wasn’t a problem, it was just a matter of sitting down to do the thing.Â
The day when it was supposed to be sent came and went. I didn’t see a newsletter in my inbox.
Don’t underestimate the power of fear.Â
The Courage
Not just work, but life itself takes courage. This is the fuel that keeps the boat sailing around the world.Â
The courage to say that I understand the world is chaotic, but something else needs my attention now.Â
The courage to acknowledge that people around you need help, but that they can find it from many other sources.Â
This is the courage to do what you are designed to do, however imperfectly you do them, and not to do what others have designed for you1. Â
Thanks for reading and see you next week 😀
