This email is being sent from my phone as I pack up my belongings in a small, independently operated hotel in Montreal. As such it is brief which is probably good for everyone. But what is not brief is this week’s podcast, which was also recorded on my phone.
Listen to my adventure in trying to find my camp site in the Mont-Tremblant National Park, and all the lessons I learned from it.

The other juicy announcement is I have a new track out this week. Check out Swallowed by the Sky on all streaming services.

Alright I’m off and about to get the famous Montreal bagel from St. Viateur. Too fitting! I’ll bring you back a half dozen.
See you soon,
Elliott “Poutine” Fienberg
Oh, forgot to mention - "Swallowed by the Sky" is awesome! (hope it gets on Bandcamp someday) :)
I was in the park when I've listened to this piece on noise-canceling headphones, and the noises that were passing through the streets around the park even very quietly were mixing with the ones that were not being canceled by your phone's mic. It was surreal, almost like the piece with the absent listener where birds from your continent were mixing with those outside my apartment. :)
Anyhow, just a thought on preparing a bit when traveling to a place without internet - always prepare some offline maps, they might save your life on some occasions.
About the approximation - we always strive to be too precise nowadays in almost everything, perhaps because technology is pushing us in this direction.
And have a good whatever you have wherever you read this. It is night here. :)
