Loved this weeks round up Elliot. Vikings have a special place in my heart. As you know my Father is from York which has been a popular place for invasions over the years. The Viking’s were the original invaders though and my hats go off to them for that.

The Viking invasion of York took place on November 1st 866AD and was led by Ivar The Boneless who along with King Halfden renamed the city Jorvik. The Vikings who settled in York were mainly a peaceful bunch despite what we read about their bloody campaigns.

I’m also a huge Techno Viking guy. This weekend I’m off to see a crew that dub their style “Death Metal Techno”. I suspect I’ll see a few vikings in the crowd.

Love the back to work/do it now mantra. Thanks for inspiring and helping me stay on track.

Love from down under.

Yes this is great. Continue to embody the viking spirit however you can is my advice to you on the matter. One big item I've learned from the stories above is they were not afraid to go exploring. Probably because where they were located was not that amazing in terms of weather but either way they set out in both directions of the Earth.
